GCF Chair Lady Gill Baker celebrates with Woking CAB’s 80 years anniversary

Woking CAB CEO Lorraine Buchanan, cutting their celebration cake along with Woking Mayoress Cllr Beryl Hunwicks, Lady Gill Baker Chair of GCF and CAW President, Chairman and Treasurer.

CAB Woking (CAW) celebrated 80 years of service and the work of all their fantastic volunteers at their AGM this November.

The jubilant event was held to share news and stories of the work they do in the local community- by the community, in the community and for the community.

Special Guests included Greenoak Community Focus’s Chair, Lady Gill Baker who gave a presentation on Volunteering in the Community. The Woking Mayoress Cllr Beryl Hunswick and CAW President, Chairman and Treasurer.

GCF had received CAW CEO Lorraine Buchanan as a speaker at a Board Meeting, and pledged a donation of £4,000 this year to their services in the community.

Glasses were raised to the fantastic teams and partnerships they’ve had over the years and are looking forward to the next 80 years.
